Detachments are a form of reorganization where a portion of one school district becomes incorporated into one or more other school districts. It may consist of one or more families or an area within a school district wanting to attend another school district.

Annexation and boundary alignment are significant matters that will not be allowed unless there is substantial evidence that they will benefit the students and the school.
